Hoylake Swimming Club delivered another fantastic performance at the Non-National Meet held on Sunday 20th July 2025 at Liverpool Aquatics Centre. Co-hosted with Bebington SC, the event brought together swimmers from across the the North West and North Wales for a full day of competitive racing and team spirit.

Our swimmers rose to the occasion, with many achieving impressive new personal bests (PBs) across all age groups. From first-time racers to seasoned competitors, the energy on poolside was electric, with teammates cheering each other on throughout the day. The team spirit was unmistakable – a true reflection of the dedication and camaraderie that defines Hoylake SC.

Scottish National Open Swimming Championships – 27th-29th June 2025

Congratulations to Jack Maher who achieved a PB in the 400IM, and Rubaidh Birch who completed the 50m breaststroke, and got PB’s in the 100m breaststroke and 200m breaststroke.

This was a long course swimming event, so a different experience (especially when swimming with national swimmers) but both rose to the challenge and did brilliantly… and fingers crossed they have qualified for next year already!!
