North West Masters in Blackpool – A Fantastic Day for Hoylake

What a fantastic day at the North West Masters competition in Blackpool!

Our Hoylake swimmers delivered outstanding performances across the board, producing a superb set of results that reflect the hard work, consistency and commitment shown in training week after week. It was a brilliant team effort and a great showcase for the strength of our Masters squad.

Our relay teams delivered in style:

  • Men’s Relay Team – 3 Gold Medals
  • Women’s Relay Team – 1 Gold, 1 Silver

The relays once again highlighted the depth, teamwork and spirit within the squad, rounding off a hugely successful day of racing.


A massive congratulations to everyone who competed and supported the team throughout the day. Performances like these are a testament to the culture of hard work and encouragement that defines Hoylake Swimming Club.

Cheshire County Championships 2026 – Three Weekends to Remember!

Over the course of three fantastic weekends, Hoylake Swimming Club delivered what is undoubtedly one of the strongest Cheshire County Championship performances we can remember.

From first heats to final swims, our athletes showed resilience, teamwork and determination, and the results speak for themselves.


🥇 County Champions

  • Dior Beavan – 100m Breaststroke Champion
  • 10-12 Girls Freestyle Relay Team – Gold Medalists

🥉 Bronze Medal Performances

  • Clark Furnival – 200m Backstroke
  • Clark Furnival – 50m Freestyle
  • Clark Furnival – 100m Freestyle
  • Lydia Sach – 50m Freestyle

👏 Finalists & Standout Performances

  • Amanda Henrys Gil qualified for an incredible 7 individual finals – a remarkable level of consistency at county level.
  • Across the three weekends, Hoylake swimmers achieved 33 individual finalist (Top 8) placings overall.

⭐ Special Recognition

A huge congratulations to all of our squad swimmers, and especially to Hope Birley-Brown who achieved the “Top in Age” award for female 10/11 years, 4 gold medals and 4 silvers.

This has been our best overall county performance in recent memory and a true reflection of the commitment shown by our swimmers, coaches and families.

The coaching team are incredibly proud of every athlete who stepped up to race, support teammates and represent Hoylake with such professionalism.

And finally, a massive thank you, as always, to our Team Managers and volunteers. Across three long weekends, your time, organisation and support make everything possible.
